Love is... the time has come

For coats and overcoats! I just love the Christmas season. Boots, chunky sweaters, hot chocolate and cider, beautifully decorated trees and yummy treats! I love it even more this year with a little son to dress up warm and cozy in argyle hats...

It has also been really fun to do tummy time! Plus! Jude rolled over at Grandma and Grandpa Morrows house on Sunday, hooray!
Beautiful lights on temple square - artsy look made possible by instagram

... just a random picture of Jude and me hanging out on the couch watchin the tube
Check out my friend Emma's blog for pictures of a sweet temple square date (complete with Hatches hot cocoa (vegan for me - deee -light), pretty pictures of pretty treats, and pictures of Brynns tree at the Festival of Trees.

Since I probably won't blog until post Christmas... Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!

Love is... 2+2=...5

I just watched this video and I am literally in TEARS! I phoned Tyler to tell him about the funniest part and I couldn't even talk because I was laughing SO hard. Honestly, the "you sneaky mom" part is really funny but this part is the best

Jake: 2+2=...5!
CJ: ha it's really four... but Jake, you were so close.

hahahaha what a good brother

Love is... just right

1 sleeping baby boy
+
1 bright Christmas tree
+
holiday wassail and a fabulous book
=
best night of the season so far!

Amazing Wassail recipe from my sister-in-law Cari... via my mother-in-law Kris I think?
1 can (46 oz) apple juice
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tea nutmeg
1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate
1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice
1/2 cup honey or sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
orange slices (optional)

Heat apple juice, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg to boiling point. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add lemonade and orange juice concentrates, pineapple juice, honey, and lemon juice; simmer. Remove cinnamon stick and serve hot. Garnish with orange slices, if desired. If beverage simmers a long time and becomes too thick or concentrated, water may be added. After serving, can give cinnamon sticks to sit in drink.
